The basic gesture of E - Raying into the widths
Lift the arms. Feel into the widths. Bring the arms into a crossing in front of the body. Ray through the arms from the heart, until you feel you are raying far into the space around you.
How do you experience the basic gesture of E?
- When moving from the extended arms into crossing the arms in front – do you lead your movement with your arms or do you allow the inner movement to lead your arms inward?
- How do you choose the crossing point of the arms?
- Always the same? Or sometimes closer or further away from the body?
- Do you cross at the wrists, on the forearms, or even on the upper arms?
- Which feels better, right arm outside or left arm outside?
- At what height do you do the crossing of the arms? At collarbone, at heart-level, or at diaphragm height? Do you experience any differences at these different points?
- Can you remain centered in yourself while raying through the arms and hands and simultaneously perceiving the surrounding space?
