Thursday
Heaven within me - carried from without to supported from within
Place the legs at shoulder width and slowly stream down from your center. Your arms may start loosely at your heart and move slowly downwards as your focus on the streaming movement. Allow yourself to be inclined slightly forwards by this. When the arms stream up on the side connecting to the space behind, allow yourself to be inclined slightly backwards (the movement in E2). Allow the arms to rise and stream together above the head and experience the meeting of left and right in the whole body. Lead joined arms down, forward and to the front of the body. Take note that the descent is mainly inwardly felt, that the arms just follow. As your arms reach the lowest point in front of you, your weight is transferred from the heels to the toes again. Your chest doesn’t feel pressed in by the arms, but rather feels widened.
Try to keep the following in mind during the exercise:
- This exercise has four parts: From your center you move down and forwards, then towards behind and above; then you bring right and left together, and bring them down from above.
- Which part do you particularly like?
- On which would you like to do more work?
- In the course of the exercise you come into contact with many different zones. Below, above, in front, behind, left and right.
- Is your center always present?
- Do you initiate the movements from your center?
- Do you have experiences that are more focused on the body and its regions or on the streams? What do you do in your soul? Can you differentiate and describe these experiences?
- When focusing your attention on your body’s movements and simultaneously becoming aware of the surroundings (e.g., A rainbow between your hands, a star above you) what perceptions do you have? Do you have experiences that could be expressed in a feeling, colour, images, sounds, etc.?
- Do you have the feeling that your equilibrium is strengthened by practicing? How is your breath? What after-effects do you notice?
